As I was writing this list I surprised myself at all of items I had written down. At first, I thought no one will believe this but then I came to the affirming realization that this is evidence that I am consistently striving to be a better version of myself. If ever there is something new for me to learn and I am fortunate enough to be able to learn it. I will.

The world we live in demands that we continue to improve and I, having been fortunate enough to have had access to a quality education, now strive to assure that all people, with special emphasis on the systemically marginalized, have the education they have always deserved.

My first job was at 16, it was for a party supply store. Where we had to dress up in costumes and help people get ready for events. I loved making people happy. I still do. Normally that position is omitted from my resume as I stick to the "one page rule" but I wanted to state it here because, although I've evolved in position, I have that same spirit.
My role is to amplify brand awareness within the realm of brand marketing, cultivate strategic partnerships (across public, private, and non-profit sectors), and manage digital communications via social media, email, website, virtual events, and blogs.
I also create custom graphics, develop implementation plans, leverage analytic data, and assist in assuring accessibility in line with modern DEI metrics.
Worked with several clients to create graphics, consult on their marketing strategy, and optimize their SEO.
I create and give custom lessons. I also assist in the creation of the middle school yearbook and teach Graphic Arts.
Observed, created, and provided lessons while under direct observation of a head teacher.
Aiming to increase organizational value to consumers and resulting in increased foot traffic, public awareness, and revenue; I developed, implemented, and managed marketing strategy and brand identity. Designed and created graphics for multiple mediums. Taught school groups and gave educational tours. Gave public presentations.
Developed a plan to revamp and revitalize a company on the brink. Communicated and directed multiple departments. Partnered with local businesses in order to promote, involve, and benefit the community.
As the sole representative of the department I: Headed the production, coordination, and implementation of eLearning platforms as well as the ‘Nine West University’ training program, assisted with retail strategy development for new marketing and promotional programs, and partnered with all teams in order to effectively and efficiently provide communication in both Spanish and English to all retail stores in North America and European publications. Created custom content for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC), St. Jude fundraisers resulting in over $250k raised over four weeks in Q2 and an additional $1M+ in Q4.
Created Store and Events BN inside page and corporate to store communications.
Assisted in developing Millennium Development Goals and resolution documents for ‘Women’s Rights’ and ‘Water as a Human Right.’ Delivered presentations and co-chaired/attended conferences on various local and global issues.
Built and developed brand identity. Managed company assets and finances. Developed policy and procedures. Contracted employees, talent, venues, and beneficiaries. Brought public awareness to issues in areas of need and provided artistic outlets for the youth. Implemented “Pay It Forward” campaign in which local charities in the community would receive donations from themed events where local talent would have an outlet to perform.
Us humans are naturally curious but we don't always ask the questions we really want to know. That's why this section exists. It's a chance for you to get to know me beyond the basic resume. Have a question you'd like to ask? Leave me a note in the 'Let's Connect' section of this page!
I'm an ENFP which according to the explanation, means that I "tend to embrace big ideas and actions that reflect [my] sense of hope and goodwill toward others" and given that I believe my purpose is to be a force for good, I am more than inclined to agree with this description.
I've gotten this question a lot and when I was younger I used to answer it by saying, "I'm basically the United Nations personified". Being curious myself, as both of my parents are from the islands of the Dominican Republic and Bermuda, I decided to find out for my myself. Turns out, younger me, wasn't too far off.
I'd like to know who came up with this question. One of the many lessons life has taught me is that there is no true life trajectory timeframe. Yes, we have goals and aspirations and ideas of when we'd like to accomplish them but rushing to an arbitrary deadline helps no one. Imagine a cardiologist rushing through a heart transplant for no other reason than to appear more efficient only to make a critical error that could have been avoided had they only taken their time? Think of all the people that were affected: from the patient, to the donor, the families, the hospital, all the people in the operating room. That is how I think. Not just of how my future will be but of how it will fit in the bigger picture and of how I can achieve the maximum good.
Driven by purpose. Guided by data. Always learning and adapting.
